Contamac Announces Winners at CLMA
The annual Contact Lens Manufacturing Association Exhibition and Meeting held recently in San Antonio, Texas, USA, was a great success for Contamac, with prize draws distributed to a number of U.S. contact lens laboratories. Kent Webb of Metro Optics in Austin, Texas is pictured receiving a $1,000 award from Marty Dalsing, President of Contamac U.S. Inc. during the three day conference. Other winners include Jo Svochak of TruForm Optics, and Al Vaske of Lens Dynamics.
Contamac staff members Marty Dalsing and Tim Koch both served as conventional co-chairs, assisting in the planning and development of the CLMA educational and entertainment programme for the 2009 theme, “The Power of Contacts”.
The company also launched the new Professional Services Section of their website, offering laboratories and practitioners the opportunity to obtain additional information including clinical data, case studies, industry links and a global calendar.
Company Director Rob McGregor, thanked industry participants with closing comments that “Contamac has just completed a record year of earnings, showing 34% worldwide revenue growth, with plans to continue expansion into additional geographic regions with current product offerings such as OptimumTM contact lens materials”.
