Contamac at the 51st Autumn VDCO Congress
Contamac exhibited at Contact ’09 the Autumn Congress of the VDCO (German Contact Lens Specialists and Optometrists) from the 25th to 27th September 2009, in Jena, Germany. In line with previous years the exhibition was well organised and reported about 420 delegates attending an excellent lecture programme and the exhibit hall.
In conjunction with the exhibition, Contamac partnered with its customers to co-sponsor a lecture providing details on a small on-eye comparative study between lathed silicone hydrogels and moulded lenses.
Martyn Lewis reported that “Contamac’s stand was full of activity, providing a great opportunity to continue to raise the awareness of the Optimum and Definitive materials to the German contact lens specialists”.

The VDCO is an excellent show, and attracts the most active contact lens specialists principally from German speaking countries but also from elsewhere, and Contamac were delighted with the interest shown in the Definitive Silicone Hydrogel and Optimum GP lens materials throughout the event.
