No. 7 Contact Lens Laboratory and Contamac Ltd Co-Present a Topography Seminar

No. 7 Contact Lens Laboratory and Contamac co-sponsored a Contact Lens Seminar at The Institute of Optometry in London on Tuesday 26 May 2009, with presentations by renowned international speakers Eef van der Worp, BOptom, PhD, FAAO, FIACLE and Tim Koch, COT, FCSLA, Vice President of Global Professional Services for Contamac.

Both lectures were part of a preview for the British Contact Lens Association (BCLA) to be held this week. The presentations addressed specialty applications for RGP lenses, focusing on large diameter and scleral lenses as modern options, designed to give excellent comfort while correcting a variety of irregular corneal challenges. New insights and sophisticated RGP lens designs such as the new So Clear corneoscleral lens, now available in Contamac’s Optimum Extra™, have been introduced recently by No. 7 Contact Lenses, who are based in Hastings, East Sussex, UK.

The two-hour course offering CET credit, was one of an ongoing series of workshops offered by No. 7, on several new comfortable GP designs, fitting technologies and enhanced practice management through clinical differentiation.
