Platinum Sponsors Contamac at the 47th Annual CLMA Exhibition Launch Optimum HR
The 47th annual meeting and exhibition of the Contact Lens Manufactures Association (CLMA) was held during the 13th to the 15th November 2008 at the Renaissance Ross Bridge Golf Resort and Spa, Hoover, Alabama, USA.
During the exhibitor’s forum Timothy O. Koch, Contamac’s VP of Global Professional Services took the opportunity to launch Optimum HR, a new class of high refractive index GP contact lens material. Contamac prides itself on listening to its customers and this new material has been developed as a direct result of demand from the GP market. Optimum HR is the first high refractive index material to be cleared for use by the FDA for the North American market. This product has a unique balance of properties, resulting in a high refractive index material that meets all the demands of the full range of presbyopia.
The CLMA congress once again proved to be overwhelmingly successful for the Contamac team who enjoyed welcoming delegates onto their newly designed exhibition stand. To support the launch of Optimum HR, Contamac ensured every visitor received a personalised gift bag containing literature on the full range of materials available and two engraved wine glasses to help celebrate the launch of our new product.
Rob McGregor, Director Contamac US commented; “The CLMA have once again chosen a great venue and provided the industry with a compelling educational programme. Contamac would like to thank our customers for taking the time to meet with us during the CLMA to discuss their business needs. Our continued commitment to innovation and desire to help our customers expand their business is our primary objective. The opportunities to partner with Contamac on many levels exist to ensure a successful short and long term business expansion for the specialty lens industry”.
Contamac wish to take this opportunity to thank all those involved in organising the CLMA for an outstanding meeting, and look forward to seeing everyone at next years event.
