Contamac New Recruits Enjoy Lab Training

As part of an extensive investment in staff training, four new, additional members to the Contamac team visited the nearby Ultravision HQ in November.
During the facility tour the lens manufacturing process was explained extensively allowing the team members, the chance to further their understanding by observing the whole process, from the lab receiving the blanks to the finished lenses being packaged and despatched. This experience in a high quality commercial environment, proved invaluable to Contamac Staff, as understanding finished lens manufacturing will ensure the company continues to provide industry leading service levels.
The group actively participated in the process, as there is nothing better than hands on experience. All spoke of the valuable insight gained into the manufacturing of GP and soft lenses, and the expert, friendly tours which were given by staff at Ultravision's impressive manufacturing facility.
