Contamac's technical team is dedicated to polymer research and development, product testing and analysis, and practitioner training. Research and development are instrumental to our underlying belief in continuous advancements in order to meet the changing needs of a global market. Success comes as a result of considerable investment in the most leading edge technologies and the ongoing dedication of the Research and Development, Technical and Quality Assurance teams.

The scientists within our Research and Development team have a diverse range of backgrounds and include polymer chemists, material scientists, process improvement chemists and organic chemists. This range of skills ensures we are able to develop leading products and continuously improve our manufacturing technology.

Technical Services consists of a team of four, immersed in a variety of applications ranging from product testing and in-depth analysis to lens design development and manufacturing guidelines for laboratories.

The Quality Assurance team continually demonstrates our commitment to quality and compliance, with the requirements of ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 13485:2003 standards. Strict procedures and systems are in place to ensure documented internal working systems are adhered to.

The importance of customer focus and the need to meet regulatory requirements is communicated to all employees, ensuring that attention to product quality and customer support is inherent throughout the whole company.

Contamac also uses its core strengths to develop biocompatible materials for other markets. The company's experience with medical applications in plastics has led to extensive research and collaborations in the Biocompatible Medical Device markets.
